A missed miscarriage is a pregnancy loss where the baby has stopped developing or no longer has a heartbeat, but the body does not immediately recognize the loss, meaning there may be little to no physical signs of miscarriage.

For some parents, there is no warning -- no bleeding, no cramping, and no indication that anything has changed. They may continue carrying their baby, believing everything is okay, only to discover during an ultrasound that their baby has passed away. This kind of loss can bring a unique and heartbreaking grief, filled with shock, disbelief, and questions.

Here, we honor the babies who were silently lost and the parents who had to hear the words they never expected. Your baby was loved, your baby mattered, and your grief is real.
