    Baby Vaughn #1

On May 22nd, 2020, Drake and I unexpectedly lost our first child. We were at the very beginning of our journey into planning a wedding and trying to navigate the uncertainty of the early days of COVID-19.

Our baby was deeply loved, even for the short time they were here, and May 22, 2020, became a day we will never forget, the day we became parents. Our first baby will always be a part of our story. We will always remember them and spread their story.

    Baby Vaughn #2

Just four months after our 1st miscarriage, Drake and I found ourselves facing another loss. This time, we knew we were expecting and had multiply people say, "most women lose their first, you will be fine this time." This gave us so much hope, excitement, and dreams for the future.

Sadly, on September 26, 2020, we lost our second baby. In such a short amount of time, we had experienced the joy of becoming parents and the heartbreak of losing two babies. Like the others, this baby was deeply loved, wanted, and will forever be a part of our story.

    Baby Vaughn #3

A few years later in 2023, Drake and I found ourselves expecting again. Finding out we were pregnant in August brought us some much-needed hope as we dreamed and longed for growing our family and began imagining a future with a little one.

But once again, our story took an unexpected turn. On September 26, 2023, we lost our third baby - the same date we had lost our second baby on, 3 years before. It was a heartbreaking reminder that sometimes the plans we make for our families don't unfold the way we hope they will. Our sweet baby was wanted, loved, and cherished from the very beginning, and will forever be a part of our family and our story.

    Bexley Ann Vaughn

After I received a diagnosis of APS and welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Drake and I felt confident that our family would finally grow without having to experience another devastating loss. We had hoped the heartache was behind us and that we could look forward to building the family we had always dreamed of.

Then came sweet precious Bexley Ann. I carried her for nine months. We decorated her nursery, celebrated every milestone, dreamed about the life ahead, and eagerly awaited meeting our little girl.

On June 5th, 2026, our world was forever changed. What began as a regular doctor's appointment suddenly took a heartbreaking turn, and the future we had imagined with our daughter was shattered.

The memory and pain of that day will live with Drake and I forever. Bexley Ann was deeply loved long before we ever held her, and she will forever be our daughter, our little girl, and an irreplaceable part of our family.
